SEND Learning Support Room
We have a room dedicated to supporting children's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) which we call The Tree House.
Children can access The Tree House in the mornings for Reading, Maths and English and in some afternoon sessions for extra support programmes, but they are still part of their class group. Mrs Brown, Mrs Green and Mrs Olney provide support for children who are working at reception, Year 1 or Year 2 age related expectations in Reading, Maths and English. They use many different interventions to do this, in particular: Read, Write Inc and Speechlink.
